■ EARLY LIFE :-

RITESH WAS BORN IN ORISSA AND WAS FROM A BUSSINESS BACKGROUND FAMILY.

AT THE VERY YOUNG AGE HE WAS INTRESTED IN PROGRAMMING.

At 8 he learned to generate codes and was laways looking for opportunities that would let him make mistake and learn from them.

HE ALSO STARTED SELLING SIM CARDS AT THE AGE OF 13 .

The turning point came in his life whem he went to kota for higher studues but dropped out of his college seeking for bigger thing in his life.

AT THE AGE OF 16 YEARS HE WAS PART OF 240 STUDENTS WHO PARTICIPATED AT TATA INSTIUTE OF FUNDAMENTAL RESEARCH FOR THE ASIAN SCIENCE CAMP.

AT THIS TIME HE WAS A REGULAR TRAVELLER IN INDIAN CITIES.

He left for delhi in 2011 for starting something bigger then now.
So at 17 he launched his company 'ORAVEL TRAVELS'
He wanted to make it easier for the tourists to find their best deals in the easiers way possible within their budget.With his travelling expriences ,
FINALLY AT 19 HE RELAUNCHED HIS COMPANY 'OYO HOTELS'

■THE IDEA :-

According to him "he started with a small hotel of his town which was closed from a long time and so he just improved the furnishing and lighting of the hotel rooms and just took some good pictures and uploaded it in his website with different prices and details".
